Let's be honest Brisbane did us all a massive favour today.

We don't have to endure a smug coach in Chris Scott or a smug premiership captain in Patrick Dangerfield. Not to mention a smug p**** in Bailey Smith.

I'll take this result every day of the week if it means that arrogant team from down the highway were comprehensively beaten on the biggest of stages.

Brisbane didn’t do any other team a favour. They simply proved that they are the best by a considerable margin.

Even a fair few neutrals are banging on about it. Ashcroft has the benefit of a star studded midfield who do all the dirty work, he can just mop up and set up chains.

Doesn't have to carry the load that nick does. So annoying when people can't see that.

I really could not be believe their lack of fight today - it’s clear that only Danger has the leadership and G&D to pull them out of the fire. And today he was invisible.
Apart from both the aging Danger and Stewart they have no leaders.
Of course their massive HGA will give them a walk up start to finals again - but they’ll be making up the numbers.
