This thread is for the 2025 Draft Order.

Through the trade period I will try and keep it as up to date as possible, but I am one person so please be patient.

I have also set up threadmarks on the round updates, and will do the same through the trade period as picks change hands. This allows you to put the thread in reader mode, only seeing updates, or to jump back and forth to particular trades that may be of interest. To access this feature please use the button at the top right corner of the thread.

They traded an end of first round priority pick in the 2024 draft at the end of 2023, but nothing like it in the 2025 draft to my knowledge.
They traded it to Richmond

Ah, that’s funny. So the picks & points tab has Richmond with pick 6 and NM with no first rounder. So the pick was swapped and the sheet is accurate.

The bit that’s funny is that I think I forgot to unhide the column in the draft order tab that shows the picks after the 2024 DRAFT (separate column from 2024 trades).

How did Port manage to lose Houston and their first rounder this year? Mind boggling trade.
Over paid for Lukosius. Worst trade the club has ever done. Basically only got pick 13 for Houston and had to give up 2025 Rd 1 pick for Lukosius and take Atkins salary dump. Joe Richards was a cheap pick up.

Port Adelaide

Receives: Jack Lukosius, Joe Richards, Rory Atkins, picks 13, 29, 36 and 50
Gives up: Dan Houston, picks 39 and 58, 2025 first-round pick

Lore I would be happy to send you a power query table in excel that will auto update the ladder/positions from the web if that's of any help.
Does it work without me having to open chrome (a browser I don’t otherwise use) to log into it and then muck around with the api connector extension that only works on the computer every week 😅

I would have thought so, although I'm answering without knowing the exact format you've built the sheet in.

I did a trial version running in excel, via power query, with a table extracting from https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/ladder. That seemed to work fine refreshing the last week, and you can enable background refreshes as you like (e.g. every hour).

I could be massively underthinking this though.

North fans can’t bear to watch. I think they’ll be better in the second half of the season, but I’m not sure they’ll win enough games to save this one from being the WOAT.
