Ah well, I'm on the Suns bandwagon this season now.

Keep backing in the youth. Give Buller a crack for McLean next week. Not really much else in the reserves at the moment. Hopefully Dattoli gets a crack when he's fit enough.

Should of been a absolute massacre but rather we escape with a 10 goal loss so i guess thats a positive?

I didnt think we would win but today was not acceptable really this is not the standard we should be aiming for well i hope not.

Mills did the dumbest thing ever since arm wrestling with Konstanty, attitude and mental application is non existent.

Sheldrick okay, Cleary needs to take his chances uhhh hope Wicks is not a serious hammy.

I don’t see the answer, except to hope players return, will that fix this? The forward line would be better I guess. I at least don’t think we are this shit with Melican, gulden, Papley, Amartey, Jmac, McDonald back for instance

I don’t know where the club is going right now , I know it can turn quickly year to year

Tough decisions to be made]

Positives- Sheldrick , Heeney in patches with glass, Tmac bar the kicking, Corey Warner early, Grundy battled okish maybe

I don’t know what you do, I harp on about moving Blakey but it seems obvious he is not effective right now .

Hamling forward, yeh may stays uninvolved, but it’s just a nothing move imo, we need to actually have someone with forward craft even a junior,

Thank god we were playing Melbourne today . If we were playing a team that could score and kick straight we might have conceded over 200.

McCartin 5,4,3,2 and 1 Votes .

  • Shit themselves at the G again, disappointing.
  • Same old same old that we dish up every second week. Weak tackling, abysmal handballing skills that constantly go behind the man.
  • Time to really swing that axe and set a standard. JMac, Melican, Francis all back next week. Buller had six shots on goal with even more shitful delivery than you get from our AFL side. Bring them all in but not for the young players.
  • Terrible call bringing McLean back. Dropped in to find form...didn't but brought him back anyway and he looked shot. Terrible player management.
  • Outside looking in look very mentally soft, that was not some powerhouse team we were playing so pretty pathetic display...was hoping this harder edge we were apparently building would make these performances a thing of the past. Not a great day for Cox.

I just don’t get the defensive zone we insist on persisting with, we play these flankers like Blakey, Bice, Roberts, Florent down there and hope they can run to contests, but we leave so much space. Then we play a key defender forward as a defender and wonder why we don’t score.

Even at centre bounces we don’t really put anyone forward , we tap backwards a lot it’s predictable

Thought our ground level game today was really poor. Another loss where it comes down to minimal contest wins up the ground. Dees way too slick and physical.

Hate to point the finger given he's been a shrewd pickup but I feel Bice since the pies game has been exposed defensively and today it was a huge let down in his game.

Just a yuck afternoon, think we just need this season to roll over by the looks of it, far too inconsistent.

The term "un sydney like" has been used so much, that I don't think it's "un sydney" like anymore.

This is our identity now, this is Sydney like.

The lack of pressure Melbourne were under at any stage except a little bit of the first qtr was embarrassing. They did what they wanted with it, we look disorganized, with no leadership on the field to change anything happening.

At the of the season there must be changes in the leadership group, in particular the captain.

One positive, Sheldrick tries hard, I like him and he's probably leaving at seasons end anyway.

I've liked what Cox has done so far but today was a shocker.

As soon as it was obvious we weren't going to win the contested game it was time to change the state of play and weaponize Blakey and Florent. Desperately needed forward half overlap with Jmac missing yet he left them wilting in a bombarded defence. After qtr 1 it was obvious we weren't going to win going toe to toe and the two players that have the ability to play run and gun footy weren't given the chance to change things. Infuriating. Even when the game was dead and buried why not just push them both up to opposite wings and just see what it does for future reference. I miss the attacking Ollie, poor bloke is stuck 1 v 1.

Hamling and Corey are no use to this team, and Campbell has taken a step back after looking the goods. McLean a shell of his old self. Bit of criticism for bice but I think he was good, was not protected by his teammates. Ladhams cracked in again. Mills is a spent force idc if it's his first game back he's nothing but a mere artefact for this club.

Other teams find ways to cover missing stars and still crack in. We are simply inept without Papley, Gulden and Jmac.

It’s pretty hard to have a defensive zone when all our midfielders run straight past the ball every chance they get to cheat forward
