He cracked the right royal shits with the club a few years ago when Jordy sacked his bother (who was his manager). I'm not sure why he wasn't just angry at Jordy, but he seemed upset with the club too. He's been a doomer ever since.

I have always enjoyed Niall’s work. I make time to listen and read. I don’t always agree with his ideas but they in general are well written and thoughtful. At times it is good to challenge your own views even if you don’t change them. And some of his ideas are just dismissed. I don’t like shallow presentation of stats or the common click bait of many other writers.

We had high hopes for the draft…..
I remember thinking at the time there must be a few hidden gems given COVID etc.

I was completely WRONG!

2020 draft we went hard. But it wasn’t so much high hopes and a tactical approach, it was salary cap. New players on base wages were all we could afford. We drafted eight players ( senior and rookie) and traded none in.. and picked up 2 more in the 2021 mid season draft.

Ten new players in a year where most kids didn’t even play at all! That’s really chucking the darts at the board with a blindfold on.

Unsurprisingly we had a few bombs in that lot but we did get two premiership players out of that draft along with Reef who is not a write off. We also managed to turn Olly Henry into Tom Mitchell and also Jacob Ryan who is still establishing himself.
