Elijah Hollands has spent the last few months on a rehabilitation program. That's a good sign. Hope he sorts himself out. Really good player.

My theory is I think the Blues will be hoping another club picks him up before that train on opportunity comes.

A drug user functions. A drug addict does not function and does damage to surrounds. Not good enough for Carlton’s list should not stop us signing him up.

Agreed with your first semtence, and maybe, no longer a user.

We could name a few that helped us win a recent gf, that werent good enough, wanted, needed by other teams... eg frampton.

I am not saying that Carlton are smart, I have historical dislike that favours to say no, but in this case I don’t have enough evidence. I like that Carlton backed themselves and tried. He played many games. Is it a change in management or is it a consumption of all chances? This is an ugly end at two clubs. Carlton failed after GC failed. The risk would appear to be higher for the Pies.

There would be mental health issues as well. Carlton pretty much replaced them in the trade period. I doubt he's a full on drug addiction. They got rid of Binns for similar reasons. They have just chosen to take a different path. I'm not saying we should chase Hollands, I just think people need to cut him some slack. He's never been thrown out a night club or bashed anyone. I'm not having a go, I just think there's still hope for him

I understand that the club has indicated that DFA would not be looked at prior to the draft. From my couch this is a disappointment. There is something about discards such as Phillips, Hobbs, Clohsey, Stevens and Hollands. The list needs top end talent not list cloggers. Difficult. Turning poo into gold is more than just polishing.

Leppa has stated midfielder and KF (Buller). He is currently content with backline resources. So Blight would appear to be a long shot. But it does not rule anything absolutely out and there is always train on after the draft. We shall see.

Not necessarily. If any list spots are available we may invite players over pre-season for a ssp spot.
