Yes that's probably not great news for him as far as 2026 goes

Edwards couldnt do much more, Dowling an in and out sorta day, Pedlar and Drury had their moments, ROB bullied children and Jones did what Jones does at SANFL level.

Really like what I'm seeing from Cotton and Marsh in recent weeks, and Ludo just looks like hes got some game.

Fair comment. Edwards and Dowling similar stats, with better first half from Edwards, and reverse for Dowling.
However, IMO there was no comparison in performance. Edwards had far better impact, with most of his disposals going where intended, while Dowling was much more hesitant, with disposal mostly going to the oppo or packs.

Didn't get to see any of the second half but that looks like a very encouraging statline from the players we want to flourish at SANFL level. Nice to see Marsh accumulating a bit.

Archie Ludowyke is developing very nicely, but keep in mind and trying to lower expectations, Tyler Welsh kicked 5 goals in a SANFL showdown as well.

Just let Archie develop and hold of AFL until next year.

I'm not sure Ludo can even return in the shape Welsh did that draft year after kicking 5 in the SANFL Showdown.

It would make last years draft amazing given our draft hand, was really impressed with Ludo today, his marking was top notch.

Marsh has a massive ceiling. I see cotton being a hinge clone, which is nothing to be sad about. Ludo will depend on how much muscle he can put on, but also has a fairly high ceiling it seems.

Seem to be able to identify big blokes easily these days but barely a midfielder to save our lives, complete inverse of the Riccciuto, Mcleod and Goodwin kicking to Ian Perrie era

Given we picked Marsh and then put a bid on Max King, I'm not sure that is the case. I get we rated Ludo and had him on our list of players if available but it was hardly a toss up given he was at least 3rd choice after a few had already gone.

Luckily, it looks like Sydney saved us from ourselves, much like Melbourne did by not trading us Petty for two first rounders (would have cost us Curtin ffs)
