Easy to get hyper focused on a player because of SC vested interest, but even Luke Hodge (think it was) was saying they should just give him a block, sink or swim, but play him in position, give him continuity and the rest is up to him.
Deficiencies or otherwise, playing him out of position / on minimal TOG is obviously ****ing stupid.
