Must be payback for last year. Playing 3 of the first 5 games in Adelaide was a debacle and just blatantly unfair..

This at least this means we will only travel to Adelaide twice and possibly now only once.

Getting an SA team in gather round is going to make it a bit of a tough fixture but also means we get to play that round as a regular away game - I'm happy with that outcome!

While I appreciate getting some shine in Gather Round, I would have preferred we keep that Sunday night fixture.

The counter to that is if the AFL continues on this Round 0 Garbage.

We and Collingwood are the only ticket in town that whole weekend for round 1 .
Collingwood will take most of the media attention because well its Collingwood and we need them for this to happen.

There is absolutely no excuse to not get 85-90k plus and make it our genuine blockbuster of the year

Finally getting some love on the fixture front. Who knew shaking things up a bit and hey presto. The opening rnd vs Collingwood is great, as is playing on an actual oval in Gather Round not a suburban soccer pitch and having that as a genuine away game vs a SA based team is ideal. Plus it’s the last game of the round will be built up.
