Is there a thread of you guys predicting your opening round/round 1 team?
usually we put it here

The following wont play round zero:

Howe will be say round 3 we will see him
Maybe Moore

Maybe McStay see how he goes.

Rest play.

UNAVAILABLE:

Jeremy Howe

Jeremy Howe is progressing well in his recovery from a calf injury. He will transition into main training this week while continuing to build his loads and intensity with the aim to be available for selection within the next fortnight.

Reef McInnes

Reef McInnes has commenced full training, including match play, as he recovers from the ACL injury he sustained last year. He will continue to increase match simulation minutes and exposure over the coming weeks before being cleared to return to play.

Darcy Moore

Darcy Moore is also progressing well in his return from a calf injury. He is completing full training and will be assessed next week ahead of selection.

Can't remember an injury list that brief - interesting there's no mention of Bobby!

Ok didn't know Reef was 4 weeks aways only really thought was like 1-2 weeks.
I knew about Howe.
pencilling in the Crows game for Howe at this stage.
Sad about Moore was looking touch and go and more on the go side and pressing the case for saints at the MCG.
Was hoping Moore would come up in the nick of time and play.
Might have not ticked enough boxes today session eve though he trained well today more of an awareness issue by the sounds of it.
Again facing a thin backline now already.
Might need to shuffle thing down back.
Over to you Fly and co.

Moore has been dealing with a calf since essentially the first week back after the Christmas break, and it was reported at the time to be a low grade one. Pretty ridiculous he's still being listed as unavailable if the reporting was honest.

I heard he tore it off the bone, but should be available for Wildcard Weekend.

Interesting, they have four sidelined in the header here but on website has three sidelined.
Wonder if they cleared someone at the last minute?

To be honest 3 short term injuries on the eve of round 1 with all the carnage going on around the league is a pretty good result. Were in good shape and all the negative ****s around the competition will be reminded of that come Sunday

Low grades are worse in my mind constant niggles these.
Harder to shake off as well.
Little come and a little go.
Bit like a boomerang condition.
Off the bone well this is for surgery then your 100 percent.
Moore had niggles all over off season.
Along with Howe.
They tend of flair up from time to time.
Need to monitor it closely.

We can't do that because he's technically not injured.
There is not LTI list anymore, it’s an inactive list and Hill would be eligible for it if the club determined he would be unavailable for more than the specified amount of time that’s required.
All that aside, the club won’t take any such action unless he’s still not close to resuming before the MSD and they want to take a player.

He obviously re-injured it, which was pretty obvious from the training reports

I would if they held the off-season member forums like they used to.
Thankfully it appears they are no longer required.
New President, new coach, winning games, (and a flag) new recruiting philosophy, etc

It shouldn't be incumbent on supporters to go on a treasure hunt on forums to find out the skipper has re-aggravated an injury.
Fairly sure it was reported in the media that he’d aggravated the injury too.

Yep. Was a silly complaint. That poster obviously wants weekly teams meetings with Fly for injury updates.
If you cared it is very easy to track via media and track watcher updates

I think we need more media coverage about what occurs outside game day at footy clubs.
