You can only beat who is put in front of you. We were not disgraced against Hawthorn & when we got it out to 20points in the third we were only a couple from putting them away. You put either Heeney or Gulden in that team and we win. Also can guarantee you no other side I've seen this year would have beat Eagles by 128 points away over there. That was a clinic. McQualter said we are the best side he has seen to this point so we will see.

Sure, but it's just a gut feeling.

I don't think we do anything as good as other sides except for run and gun. And we're not the only side that can do run and gun either. So I look at teams and can see how what they do would hold up in a grand final. I look at us and think, "Well, better hope it's an open game." Which grand finals typically aren't.

Will this be the excuse every time we lose a game this year ? Because to be honest its a broken record. How about the the skill execution, the decision making, the defensive structure being complete garbage, with all of Rampe, McCartin & Melican looing like a comedy trio and them beating us comfortably in the air ? And just as a matter of interest frustratingly we have been bombing the ball to the boundary for the last 10 years even with possibly the greatest forward to ever play the game.
