While she hasn't had the results in the singles over recent years, she did win the US Open doubles last year & the Aus Open doubles in 2019 - or do doubles not count in terms of achievements?

I can understand why athletes would want continue playing & delay retirement as long as they can - life in retirement is a hell of a lot longer than their playing careers are

One thing for Stosur though was whether she could have stepped back from the singles tournaments & focused more on doubles in recent years because that's where she's been at her best & having success
