Got an e-mail from Powercor today saying due to urgent works they'll need to work in the area and power will be cut between 8.30am and 3.30pm on the 24th June while the works are being done. First thought was "OK, I'll work from the office that day - no biggie" until I looked at the calendar and noticed the 24th is actually a Saturday.

Why would they be doing the work at that time when most folks would be at school or work during the week and not as affected?
