Bowey and McVee now gone..AMW coming off a knee. Lindsay and Taylor still young and raw. May old and slow. Surprised we didn't go harder for a back pocket in the offseason knowing McVee was gone. Now it hurts us even more. Maybe it's time to unleash Sparrow in defence? We seem to be well short on small defenders.

small forwards were going to have a field day against us the second Mcvee left. he's our only true defensive player in the backline. Bowey is just the icing on the cake. but who cares, this season is a development one anyway.

No idea why we don’t trial Laser down in defence, has a solid kick (why we drafted him) and knows how to tackle like a terrier. Is also fit so can follow blokes up the ground if he needs to.
