Getting a bit nervous about finishing the team having already used 10 trades fixing issues. Need 10-11 more upgrades for a full premium team so will be fading Grundy for cash purposes. Gawn and Bont were nice last week but chewed up a lot of coin.

Think there's some value on the horizon which I might pick off at the right price. Rankine could get to 400K, Dunks low 500s and Clark 500K. Dawson, Richards, Clug and Rowell also on the watchlist. Plenty of proven premiums at a decent price

Would you trade Watkins or Sharp for Farrow?
Probably Watkins. Sharp should be back at some point but I don't Watkins will be around much longer. BE a bit dicey as well.

Sharp could work as a loop. Is he fit? Essendon should play him over Parish at this point.
He was a test after 1 week, but I don't think ankle swelling went down enough to play either level last week.
He wasn't even listed on the medical report, released yesterday.
Sharps also likely to be a DPP soon.

He needs to play this week to get DPP. I'll hold Sharp for now either way.

This. Shit scared to go anywhere near Trac again. Wait and see for me, happy to final upgrade or luxury upgrade to him around the main byes. Very low on my priority list after that nasty hammy.
I find it hard to believe that a man with this 200+ game history of evidence behind him all of a sudden becomes unusually susceptible to soft tissue injuries.

I'm sure there's a solid catalogue of players that started copping soft tissue injuries when they hit 30.

All I'm saying is I'm not rushing to bring him back.

Doubt he becomes 'susceptible', but there's been plenty of examples of vets doing a hammy or calf for the first time later in their career and coming back too early as a result. Hamstrings and calves are very much 'feel' injuries when it comes to the risk of re-injury.

After straining or tearing a hamstring, the probability of re‐injuring the same hamstring in the future becomes considerably higher. Recurrence rates following hamstring injuries are high, with the greatest incidence for re‐injury occurring within the first two weeks after return to sport.

Is Dovaston to Steene worth it?

English injured and Xerri riding the pine with McA at R2. Unless ZZ comes back I'm eating a donut there for 2 rounds and even then surely I can't trust an R1 and R2 combo of McA and ZZ.

I think the big man needs to come in for English but gosh he is pricey.

I can get him and Farrow in 2 trades but it means I am sacrificing Jaques early.

Or I can reluctantly use my second boost and turf Sellwood and Watkins instead and bring in Lai along wth Farrow. That gives enough cash to trade English->Gawn.

Assuming all else is equal, is keeping Jaques worth a boost in this scenario? Also uses my 8th trade.

Anyone else have the problem that grabbing Whitfield would push a decent rookie score to the bench? Guess longer-term that doesn't matter a heap.
Not the ideal time to grab a DEF, only other option i could see would that would appeal might be Finn Callaghan.
Was a fun own last year till he died.
Suppose Whitfield likelier.to be top of line.

Folks will probably talk themselves into ignoring this, but it's true. Danger, Dusty, Fyfe, Buckley, Tay Adams, Presta etc.
Some of those had a tendency all along, but late career definitely increased probability
