Humphrey is probably more of a chance than usual because we have guys with personal links to him at the club plus we have the draft currency (And assumed cap room).
And opportunity. With Pickett he would literally be given the keys to our midfield

Would be really hard but I'd love to find a way to get Humphrey in and keep one of our F1s this year.
Not impossible...

If Sparrow was to leave (I hope he doesn't, and don't think he will) we'd get band 1.5 - Lots of ways to turn that into a 'proper' first rounder or even include it in the Humphrey trade.

If Rivers was to leave ( I don't think he will, but I'm just a little suss) - I'm sure we could turn that into a first rounder with some other pick swapping.

Again, I don't want either to leave, would make an even bigger hole in our peak list age demographic, but that's how it could theoretically happen.

Just circling back to this, feel like Hardwick's whinging over umpiring would definitely trickle down to the players. Gives them an easy out for their performances.

He finds something to whinge about every single time a team he coaches loses. Every. Time. Classic Sheedy distraction tactics.

Pretty much. I also think that yes like Bluelegs had said that kind of mentality permeates down the playing list. Like a lot of their players just seem very moody and unhappy on the field.
