You haven't offered pick 5 on its own otherwise the deal would be done.

The thing is clubs generally get a deal done for unders because that's the best they can offer whereas St. Kilda have the means to get a deal done but they refuse to.

What's funny is that Hawthorn and Dodoro have squeezed St.Kilda's plums to the point where they are backtracking on the "we won't be trading 5" line. Not long now until it's a straight swap or, more likely, Carlisle + 25.

Most clubs would have just done the fair deal and took the player. Saints have trashed their reputation and gone some way toward redeeming ours.
