I dont know why people say we dont need another key back. What if he as a key back may become one of the best in the comp and better than what we have? Durdin is capable of being a forward as well.

Just hold your horses. Its not unnatural for him to play back for development purposes anyway :)

It's not like Tarrant is going to be around forever either.

I hope McKay makes it because I'd love the crowd to sing the "Mkay" song from South Park every time he kicked a goal, like we did growing up with him climbing Mt Gambier from the steep side drinking through straws.
His junior coach described him as a black canvas & isn't the picture taking shape now?

Yeh we dont really need another key back for the moment. Looks like the next few yrs will see Taz, EVW, Nielson and Durdin in the backline.

I rebuilt the NMFC logo (for another purpose) and that avatar was making my eyes cringe. Hopefully you can replace it with the attached so my eyes can rest :)

I have a good feeling about this bloke. The way he moves and kicks the footy is unreal for a 200cm 19 year old, and he's already well on the way to being a physical animal. Whether it's down back or up forward is unclear at this point, but I have no doubt he'll become a bloody good footballer for us

Congratulations

Very happy with this. Needed to see where he's at and the injuries have opened up opportunity.

Seize it with both hands BMac!

Seems to be really respected by his team mates and comfortable and close with the coach, good to see.

Damn my memory. I was thinking of Br(e)ad McKenzie even though the player in question is the title of the topic...

I look forward to him playing against Carlton next year after making his mark starting this week.
