I'd be happy to see him rested this weekend tbh.

Perth is his home, he will be happy to get back there for a bit.

Freo is a must win game and a great opportunity for us with some of their injuries.

We cant have too many players resting in Chapman, Fletcher and Myers plus Ryder maybe playing under done.

Hes not an old many like Fletch and Chapman, altitude doesnt affect him like the old blokes. They geed DVT (deep vein Thrombosis) :p

Still learning to lower them eyes but is fast becoming the player we all knew he could.

I'll come off my high horse for a minute here and say that I have criticised him for a while now. That I have questioned whether he 'had' what it takes to become an AFL midfielder.

People still have question marks, hell, even rines has some doubts and as one of the most respected posters on this board, shall we attack them? Of course not..

Look, I have said from a very early on that his decision making has been one of his greatest deficiencies, from very, very early on. The long blaze away was one of them hence my post about needing to lower the eyes. Seems to just want to boot it long every time.

The facts are that younger guys are catching his output very quickly. He needs to continue to develop with his body finally right now (has played 68 of a possible 135 games). If he continues to push the midfield group, we as Essendon will be a premier side having had a guy like Myers as 'depth' for such a long time.

Now come at me. I wrote him off early, but i'll admit that i've come around to him in the last 18 months (yeah, yeah, injury free. Whatever :p) so come at me :D

Had always questioned his decision making Sosa ;)

hence my previous statement..
You said it yourself

Ive been a bit of a hater, but he did show some very good signs this year. Hope he can step up into a top 5 midfielder for us in 2014.

(before you ask: BJ, Watson, Heppel, Howlett, Melksham)

to be honest i can't even recall the nature of the myers debate anymore. except for the midfield/defender thing.

his shit delist v he's fine, he'll come good
