Re: 25. Michael Still

Looks like a good prospect for the future but little bit small at the moment, wouldn't expect to see much of him during the season 1-5 games maybe??

EFC Website Player Profile:
After being drafted as a bottom-age player, the lightly built key-forward prospect was allowed the time and space to complete his Year 12 studies last year, with the club easing him into its football program. Despite injury concerns, the teenager showed good signs early at Bendigo in the VFL and should benefit greatly from a full pre-season in 2010.

In My Opinion
Michael is a very raw, undeveloped key forward, who could be anything at this stage. Judging from youtube highlights, as well as the NAB Cup game vs West Coast, he has a good set of hands and a good, solid kicking action. He looked calm under pressure and could be a steal for EFC in a couple of years time. Also looked solid a ground level for someone at 6'4". Could debut this year if in dire need of key forward. Will be ready for AFL in 2/3 years time

Re: 25. Michael Still

I liked the idea of taking a guy @ 17 so we didn't miss him when he was 18.

The first pic is a great one, when was it taken? Standing next to a bloke the sort of body type he will probably come up against. It shows the development he needs.

New meaning to "in the hands of the the trainers."

Re: 25. Michael Still

Keep forgetting this guy is the same age as Colyer and Melky!
3 goals last weekend for Bendigo I hear, not bad for a skinny 19 year old.
Anyone know what his set shots are like?

Re: 35. Michael Still

Still will be a better player next year IMO, If Lloyd plays on IMO he and Gumby will make a mean CHF-FF combo in the VFL IMO

If Gumby is fully fit there is 0% chance of him playing in the VFL.

to start with he should come back through VFL for 2 games AT LEAST. maybe bring him in round 3

I'd say he would play NAB cup and be fully ready and firing by Round 1.

Bump. ;)

Re: 35. Michael Still

and why isnt he gettin a crack with the big boys?! why not give him a crack like we did in the NAB cup....

He's killing it today against Richmond. 6 goals over the past 5 quarters. After 41 goals last year at SANFL level. We could do with him right now.

I always felt we let go of him prematurely.
May go full Podsi.

Agreed. I was impressed with him in the VFL when he was with us. I was baffled at the decision to let him go without even playing a single game.
