I'd say hes about 33/1 to play round 1 - Isn't even with the main training group yet so will be a long way behind.Besides - he's too important to risk given his versatility and ability to play as a key forward
33/1?

Is that SportsBet or Ladbrokes?

I don't think any Dons supporter would be pissed off at him if he left.

It'd be a terrible situation, but he's given his all for this club.

He'll be 28 by the time Freo offer him this (rumored) five year contract, which means it'd very likely be his last (contract), a chance to earn some money, a chance to play in his home state, and a chance for immediate success.

I still think either of Hooker or Hurley leaving would leave a bigger hole in our team than anyone else, but if he does decide to leave I for one definitely won't be abusing him on the way out (like I did Carlisle).

He can have his last contract at EFC.

Seeing as he is suspended should any afl club be allowed to approach him or his manager

I'd be gobsmacked if they can't and won't speak to his manager.

It's similar to during the season where a player says "nah, I haven't spoken to Club X" but you can guarantee his manager has.

Clubs list managers will be talking to Cale's manager 100%.

And I'd be dumbstruck if this was against WADAs code.

They can return to the club to train on September 13. But I don't think the ban on playing itself ends until November.

So if we were to make finals (yes yes, I know), they couldn't just return.

oh yeah...the finals

Could Hooker train alongside James seeing that James is likely to play at the 2016 Olympic Games - Doubt this story is correct.

If Stanton can't play in a local golf tournament, I cant see how Hooker could train in a professional sport environment along side athletes who are under the WADA code.

The NBA is not a signatory to the WADA Code but of course Le Bron will play Olympics - AFL is still unclear what players can do or not do twwo months after the sanction - Enough said.

The current Wada system is rubbish needs to be re-written so it's easy for athletes to follow.

For anyone who couldn't make it through the pay wall, he'll also be training with the Cincinnati Bengals (NFL) and Cincinnati Reds (MLB) during his trip to Ohio. Good to see he'll be with a football team for part of his stay.
Going to the NFL?

So he'll come home juiced up and with assault charges.

Just great!
