Shoulder injury just like SOSOS.. seems like SOS has a sneaky knack for picking up some bargains in the draft just like he does in trade week.

As for Polson being 184cm now (listed as 177cm on the AFL draft tracker), I think this makes him a really handy height especially with that speed. Should be able to play both forward and midfield and create a few matchup nightmares with that speed.

Love the video of him and his family reacting to getting drafted by Carlton. A great moment. Good luck to him and I have a good feeling about this selection. Also in his highlights video, I love that chase down tackle which set up an easy goal. Defensive plays like that will make him a Bolton favourite pretty quickly. Looks like we have added a few similar players now that have changed up our slow, one-paces midfield and added some real defensive pressure.

Not sure what I like more, getting players I liked at relatively predictable pick - SPS, Fisher - known players at unexpected value picks - Macreadie (47), Kerr (last pick) - or those I had absolutely no idea about and then watch small glimpses of and go wow......hope it translates to the big boys and the shoulder is OK...CP looks like a bit a Daniel/Hrovat combo meal but I'm sure someone else will find a better comparison type player

Agree, as soon as they read out his first name they started screaming.
Cats and blues showed interest but it's never a guarantee no matter what they tell them. Would've known we had few picks in that range so if he was picked it'd have been in that next five minute block.

One piece of play that really stood out for me was his front & centre positioning at a marking contest in the forward line (0.52sec).
For me it was 1:36 running back with the flight when all around him were ball watching, then gathered the loose ball and ran through the lot of them. Impressive piece of play.
