Round 6, 2018 (versus St Kilda): As a rotational midfielder, Langford picked up 15 disposals and laid three tackles, with six inside-50s to boot. Not a bad effort.

Shocker

Round 15, 2018 (versus GWS Giants): In what appears to be the final game of his AFL career, Langford went out with barely a ripple. Just five disposals and no tackles may well reflect the output of a player whose heart was no longer in it.

I thought he was brought back into the side abit fast following his broken hand over last summer. From memory he played against the Tigers in the early part of the season, having not played a minute of game time to that point. At the time many of us did not understand the selection, and I remember writing that I thought/hoped it was part of a long-term plan of Clarko's to see him body up against some of the stronger Tigers later in the year at the pointy end of season. That never happened, and perhaps I just really did not know what I was talking about it...

I do remember the Round 6 match against Saints in Tas and he looked good.

it looked like will was going to be a star in 2014,but his career nose dived after that finals series.To be honest the rest of his career was very ordinary,not upset to see him gone.The turnovers under no pressure were making me go bald as I was pulling out clumps of hair in frustration.

I’m sure I read about Will having chronic fatigue syndrome. So whatever you think of his career , he must’ve had his fair share of battles to deal with that we don’t know about. Best to say thanks for a great 2014.

Will suffered a terrible run of illness and injury after 2014- it was like he was cursed.
Lost a yard of pace which put more pressure on his disposal.
