Yes I think you're right. I sure hope Viduka stayed for financial reasons only.

Arsenal have shown a wee bit of interest in Viduka, with Wiltord ****ing off in January more than likely.

Owen returns, we win. No surprise there.

Leeds are going down. :D

Gee, your two games ahead of us and if we had the luck you did yesterday we'd be equal on points and you would be calling for Gerry's head.

I'm still calling for "Gerry's" head ...

Blackburn are apparently after Viduka as well, along with Josip Skoko who scored against them in their UEFA Cup tie.
Fine with me.

ANYTHING Souey. Do SOMETHING.

Liverpool fans have been calling for GH to go for months. Unlike your mob we don't accept mid-table mediocrity as an achievement because we aren't in the relegation zone.

Unlucky?

Problem is, what damage could he do to Australian soccer?

On TWG yesterday they said GH had sold ASA that even if he wasn't at Liverpool he would only be available for a few weeks of the year - so I think that story can be put to bed.

Dangerously close to one of those Jod23ish "If Owen took all his chances we would have....." type of comments.

Btw, with the ref overruling a linesman's offside flag (hey, only THREE players offside) to give Liverpool a goal, can we expect no more comments from Liverpool fans about alleged "hometown" decisions that favour Manchester United at Old Trafford?

Haven't seen it yet so can't comment. But from all accounts (apart from soccernet - and they would say Liverpool played badly if we beat Brazil 10-0) none of them were interfering with the play, so good refereeing.

Leeds had plenty of time to come back, there was 33 minutes to go. We scored another anyway.

But of course - Leeds were unlucky. Again.

We are only accepting it because we know that we aren't good enough to be any higher and that mid-table is an appropriate finish considering the squad we have. It's called being realistic.

It's all about momentum and we lost all of it when that goal went in.

Glad to see you can admit it. ;)
