Can someone tell me, if an AFL player tests positive to recreational drugs for a 3rd time, what is the penalty?

they have to pull a bucket bong and then take a shot of tequila before they blow the smoke from their mouth

Aren't there players rumored to already have 3 strikes against their name?

(not looking for names obviously, as I have a pretty good idea who they are)

On the third strike the player is named publicly by the AFL. THey are then required to face the AFL Tribunural where they can face a sanction of "up to" 12 weeks.

On a fourth strike the player is named again and will face the tribuneral with a "minumum" sanction of 6 weeks.

That is the penalties for "out of competition" strikes. If a player tests positive on "game day" for any banned substances it is an automatic 2 year sanction.

Hope that clears up any confusion.
