3. I have never seen a more biased umpire than that prick Stevic. Constantly pays free kicks to Hawthorn for nothing at all, exhibit a. that free kick and then the 50m penalty against Buddy. He actually looks like he is smirking after Hawthorn kick goals, should never be allowed to umpire another Hawthorn game.
I normally stay right out of umpiring conspiracy theories but when even Hawks fans openly agree that he's biased towards them, ya gotta wonder...

One more thing I'd like to say!
An important thing about our culture.

We need to quit this unsociable footy 'act' we are puting on.

We have never been an unsociiable team.
We have never been renown for that. What we have stood for in the past is as an uncompromising hard at the ball team that hunted the carrier in numbers. We saw a glimpse of it in 10 minutes of the second quarter & we came back to within 18 points of the Hawks with ease.

When the aggression at the ball has been misplaced this year, we have been vulnerable for a slaughter.

I saw it against Freo, doggies, Tigers & again last night.

Tackle in numbers Swans.
Stop trying to be tough with opponents that don' t have the ball.
It's not the way I want to follow my club.

A mate of mine and Old Man Bedford's said this to me only on Thursday. Mentioning some of the shit spoken in the media about matching their toughness Blah Blah Blah !!! Talk is ****ing cheap !!! Let your actions do the ****ing talking !!! As he said to me he was an unsociable ***** on the field too but it did not stop him from getting knocked on his arse more times than he can remember by blokes who just stood their ground and give as good as what he dished out. You don't have to put on false bravado to be tough just play the ****ing ball go hard at the man when he is between you and the ball and stand up to any cheap shit that comes your way with a unified effort to flying the flag when required.

4. Not something i learnt but rather something i want to learn. Why does it seem every one of our centre clearances are a snap/mongrel kick to chf. We lack any penetration out of the centre. The hawks and others have got systems in place where they can find a players running forward and kick with some intent. Our mids flock like seagulla to the ball and just scramble forward. We dont have any set plays in the middle
People keep talking up Stuart Dews coaching ability but I don't see it. He's our midfield coach and were are regularly tactically beaten in that area, especially by Hawthorn.

Have to disagree sorry

Mitchell steele vandenberg etc

Good footballers are good footballers
They're individuals, not a as pole of the talent within the NEAFL. The NEAFL is well below the standards of VFL, SANFL and WAFL. Chalk and cheese by comparison. It's a huge disadvantage for us.

The gap between the neafl
Trade ban
Lack of draft picks
Moon in uranus

None of these are an excuse for poor application. Average gameplan and poor effort

Was teddy right , looked to still have concussion

Maybe he was brought back to run through Mitchell, Longmire in the presser couldnt give a stuff about if Ted got suspended or not.

Usually he says he didnt see the incident or backs the player in but this time was met with just a frown and a shrug.

Our bottom half players so often you hear that they are just as important as your frontliners.

Towers, Jones, Lloyd, B.Jack, Cunningham, Robinson, Nankervis.

Puopolo, Schoenmakers, Ceglar, Spangher, Litherland, Suckling.

Not sure if the players are entirely accurate but big gap?

Towers looks unlikely but the others are a mix of unknown/undeveloped, they could be ok even bjack

The hawks guys have experience have had development time put into them

I still think, like Tippett, it is hard to judge given the framework the team plays under.

The real question is do you think those players would be better at and under the Hawthorn game style. The answer for mine is yes.

Give you example, Paul P. I don't even think he would get a start in our line up and he is clearly a great little small forward clearly best 22 in any team in the comp us excepted.

Said it a few times now, and been accused of heresy given the personality cults that develop, but Horse does not let these guys express themselves. They are stunted in their game and development. And I am sick of him saying we should lower our eyes when that is clearly a lie given he coaches for us not to.

Thats how it feels

Example second quarter got it back to 18

Yeah buddy magic, but we took them on in general play, good aggression looked to attack

Sure enough get the ball start of the third and back to set play and chip sideways

Theres no flair or dare to win

Hawks just crap all over that

1. If Brandon Jack gets another chance I'll lose it. We know he is average why not try a Hewett or someone?

2. Out coached for the millionth time.

3. If Tippett is playing he has to play 1 out in the goal square and we need to cop Pyke in the ruck
BJ was cleaner than many, aggressive and cool enough under pressure. He needs to get more ball but there were plenty of players who did get more and made an absolute dog's breakfast of it.
