If Conca can stay fit all pre-season he could become a valuable member of our midfield next year.

That may be true - it's certainly true that we have said that statement repeatedly for years.

I still have doubts on his decision making and execution errors - have seen to many sideways turnovers.

He does have enough skill to tease...

Neil Balme has talked Reece into staying and offered him a contract...Balmey's could believe we were going to give Reecey the flick
Concas hammy's are now 100% and will partake in pre season training in a month

what were they before the last pre season and the one before that? ;)

Personally - don't mean to be disrespectful to Conca however sadly i think he is the definition of list clogger. Teases with reasonable ability. He's not a midfielder. He's not a great 1/2 back. He pokes at the ball to much and kicks don't penetrate. Not trustworthy under pressure.

Where is his best position?

I would be trading him even before letting Vickery go.

His form in 2013 was good, was very important to our side, sadly since the hammy in the elim final, he hasnt bounced back, in fact he has gone rapidly backwards.

Show up fit, don't ping hamstring, and fix his kicking. He'd be a solid B grader if he could do all those things.

Him and Lennon coming back with their tail between their legs hopefully turns around their attitudes!

Nobody wanted him so he came crawling home and milked another contract out of us.Lol we are still tied up with list cloggers. He should have been rookied at best .Better and fitter players than him running around ind the vfl and edfl.

Remember the last person who came back after being shopped and that players form the next year?

Let's hope these 2 boys copy that :p

If Conca is actually fit and stays fit then I reckon we have a winner. Every time he gets going he injures himself. I hope the contract is for low $ and has a clause re playing games. But he has a heap of talent when fit and in form. Summary, I think re-signing him is risky if true, but the returns could be large. Contested inside ball winner 1%s, good outside.

Conca is the type of player we are missing in the midfield. He wins his own ball, but more importantly, tackles as well. Combining him with Prestia is a pretty good decision, as long as they both stay fit.

Conca has some pretty decent traits for AFL level. Good hands, quick, likes the physical stuff, and has terrific spatial awareness.

If Conca can stay fit, he is a solid player. It's just the staying fit part that is the issue.

Don't think anyone wanted him. We threw him out there and back he comes lol

Noooooo. List clogger of the highest order.
The fact we stupidly took him so high in the draft should not sway us to continue the failed experiment but I think this is at play here.
I have never seen any player not learn from their mistakes like this guy.
Constantly gives away free kicks ploughing into the back of the opposition or gets pinged for holding the ball by dragging it in and not trying to get it out, throwing his arms out like he is not in possession. On top of this there are the brain fades when under pressure and turnovers.
So frustrated by this, what of the wholesale changes to the club and list that were going to happen?
