Player Watch #30: Reece Conca

Ok I know it’s a Reece conca thread but how awesome is it that Cotch is equal first for broken tackles with Dusty??? I’m sure Dusty will come out ahead on his own eventually but still awesome.
True dat...but have been noticing that Cotch has been dishing out awesome fendoffs hisself from late last year onwards...
Good to see both Cotch & Reecey following on...
Was wondering why the fendoff was not being used more by other players seeing Dusty is so effective with it...It's a staple defensive tactic in League...
More of the fendoff i say!

Only for Richmond though. :p

nobody has noticed Dusty doing it.....

When he stays fit he becomes a damn good player. Just that he always breaks. Please don't break this time Reece.

He adds a lot to our team if fit and in form.

And, chicken salt on top of the crispy hot chips, I'd love to rub many people's faces in it that he won a premiership and was important.

I admit he was good in the early part of last year and was so unlucky with that foot injury, which was an impact injury at the end of the day. From a soft tissue/hammy perspective I think he's been pretty good the last two years, so kind of sounds like he's over that. Just hope he doesn't break anything so he gets that continuity. I'd like to see a really strong B&F finish from him at the end of the year.

Here's hoping.

At his best he's good value. A solid B/B+ player. Adds a lot to our team.

Touches wood - desk, head, toasted sandwich (anything that resembles wood)

Here's another analogy, you'd better hope he retains some semblance of form as he's already proven he's not worth a packet of 'chips' at the trade table.

I cant remember if it was the Hawks game or the Lions game but seen McIntosh give the opposition player 1 mighty 'Dont Argue' and thought wooo hoo go Macca

Agreed. If he stays fit and in form he'll have good worth. Anyway, the only way to know the end of this is to see it. If he can do the job in 2018 we are a better team. If he injures himself then ....

Apparently looked a little propy coming into the 4th
If he does get dropped this week would only be because of the 5 day turn around

Given his injury history and how he has found some decent form wouldn’t mind them being conservative with him

Obviously some need to watch more closely. Some of his disposals/decision making was atrocious.
He did some good things in close, but reminds me of Tucky at his worst... slam it forward straight to oppo for a turnover, or completely miss other options.

Mind you, Edwards wasnt much better tonight.

I agree and I still don’t know what all the noise is about. He’s below average at best and looks lost. I think winning easily hides a lot of his deficiencies.

i think in this team, being in the top 5-7 players means your doing good.
