If he goes, good on him, make hay while the sun shines and all that. But are we missing the fact that if all these departures transpire we'll be left with 0 insurance for midfield injuries. We can't let them all go surely?
Which is why we should be targeting a gun midfielder from somewhere

It's criminal that this bloke has been getting games ahead of the likes of Lloyd, Ellis, Miles.

Very ordinary footballer, has never been able to gain composure or good disposal. Need to ship him on.
One of those players where if he performed how he did with his injury troubles but was taken in the rookie draft he would and should have been shipped off 2 years ago. We kept him way too long in hope.

Yep, his salary is better used elsewhere. There are players in the 2's that could be tried ahead of him.

Not going anywhere
Be really disappointing if true, the only way he gets left out is if he is injured , whilst the chances of him featuring in a premiership winning side are slim. Just way to many brain fades , shit disposal and over commitment.
For that reason alone I do hope he is unavailable for next years finals series.

Really was hoping to offload him. He is not bad, he is not good, he is what he is and will get no better.

Of course we can let em all go losing em changes very little.
Lets say all of C Ellis, B Ellis, Drummond, Lloyd, Miles, and Conca are all mids.I dont believe they all are as it is And they all go.
It still leaves Martin, Cotchin, Prestia, Lambert, Edwards, Higgins, Grigg, Graham, Baker, Menadue Caddy and McIntosh.

Theres also a few small fwds like Rioli Butler who we would be looking to get midfield time into.

Weather the 6 stay or go we lack a big inside mid, We lack a quality speedy outside running mid and we lack another quality clearance player we need to address these things and its something the 6 going cant provide.

Get three mids in and we dont lack numbers but still lack quality. we need three very good mids not a whole pile of battlers.

Conca is a replacement level player and we have B Ellis waiting outside this year's Finals 22 to come right in and play that role so I'm not fussed at this news.

Freo willing to offer him a 4 year deal is incredible for him and he'd be silly from a financial and footy security perspective to knock it back when you consider he was essentially unwanted when he checked the market out for himself last year and he got a little reminder of how fast things can turn when it seemed he somehow escaped suffering a long-term ankle injury this year.

Good luck to him.
