In my 52 years of supporting Richmond Football Club i can honestly say that there has only been 1 player that i 'Hated' and thankfully he is gone and no longer consuming space in our great team.

2014 Draft
#12 - Corey Ellis - 30% Chance making it to 100 games
#33 - Connor Menadue - 50% Chance making it to 100 games
#52 - Nathan Drummond - 10% Chance to make it to 100 games
#67 - Dan Butler - 100% Chance to make it to 100 games

#77 - Reece McKenzie
Rookie Draft
#11 - Jayden Short - 30% Chance to make it to 100 games
#29 - Jason Castagna - 100% Chance to make it to 100 games
#46 - Kane Lambert - 100% Chance to make it to 100 games

#61 - Mathew Arnott
2018 will have a big bearing on the first 2 making it to 100 games.

Interested in how you came up with those percentages.
Ellis is a bust. Not fast. Doesnt get the ball enough and is injury prone
Menadue seems to be froma bygone era where you had 1 or 2 "outside runners". You need to be able to do more than run and get the ball on the outside
I dont see what drummond ever offered. He looked lije a foot soldier. We have moved past him
Castagna was lucky not to be dropped last year and he has plenty snapping at his heels.
Butler is fast but needs more strings to his bow.
Lambert is a genuine player. Fast. Knows his strengths and weaknesses and plays to what he is capable of. Reckon he will win a jack dyer medal soon.
Short Should be a 1st team player. Id have him in as he versatile and can play anywhere.

George is better than Butler Rioli Bolton and Stenglein

Who did you hate?????? Spill the beans???

ATM yes, but his deficiencies (skill level) I think will be hard for him to eradicate, whereas Butler/Rioli need only to have more impact in games. Bolton similarly has a much higher skill level than George, and it could easily pass George's impact on games.

Castagna however has size, endurance and attitude and is very good in our game plan and wont be giving up his position easily.

Lol...are you running this site with your rules now...!?

Shoo fly .... seriously stop stalking me.
We have nothing to discuss and your disingenuous smirks and child-like interactions are not appreciated by me or anyone else posting here, whether they are in your camp and out of it.
And neither are your relentless and sustained attempts to rally posters against me. Even posters I have had battles with are wide-awake to what you are doing, so don't think it goes unnoticed.
There is no need for you to respond to anything I write .... and especially no need to respond within your usual 10 seconds.
If you can't respect my wishes, respect the rest of the board and your fellow posters and stop posting so good threads don't continued to get derailed.
Put me on Ignore.

George and Butler have been the benefactors of a game plan built around speed and forwardline pressure I doubt very much they'd have got to where they did this year had we been playing that same possession garbage we played in 2016. But you'd reckon with the game style we are currently playing they are safe unless Bolton and Higgins push them out.
Short is a good player and I reckon he'll play plenty of seniors this year.
And Menadue, you make a fair point, but I think he can take it to another level, showed a bit in 2017 just needs to work on his defensive game and win more contested ball.
Corey, we'll I reckon he'll struggle, running ability (endurance and speed) will struggle to get to the levels required particularly with interchanges being further reduced in coming years

even his good games at senior level he's usually been good for 10 min then gone for the rest. I've certainly seen potential. I just want to see him show no fear. He needs to watch Cotch highlights from the finals and go that hard.

JLT could be huge for him. If he plays badly but still makes the rd1 squad then plays badly again, he may see himself out for a while with plenty of players to come in for him. However if he looks the goods the next few weeks then has a half decent round 1 as a minimum he might get a whole heap of games in a row especially if we're winning. Big time in his career for sure. Needs to play with the thought that he will be traded to #lolnorf at years end if he doesn't perform
Yep.Big game for him.If he,s ok then he stays ahead of the pack.If he has an average game then its all down hill for him.Others will pass him.

George to me is as Cellis and Lenin are to prodigy. I'll always think he's the GOAT small forward
Yeah i like georgie too...going to be interesting watching his output this season...hoping for big things from the lil forward! :)

Lol CEllis will become best 22.

In regards to Lennon, I still stand by my initial statements regarding his class and potential but I was clearly wrong.

Grimes is a superstar.

Been a favourite since day one ...... and used to curse how unlucky he was with injuries. Thought he's never catch a break. Glad he did. Very underrated footballer, but not by Tigers supporters, who know just how good he is.

I rate Grimes extremely highly, I remember posting in an off season where i went to training and Grimes was training 1 on 1 with one of our trainers and remember posting on here that this kid will leave nothing to chance and will get every single drop out of his talent, Has not proved me wrong and is all class with the way he just signed recently even though he could have got an extra 100-200k elswhere or increased his number by waiting.

Grimes is the type of players that make clubs and their Culture

Never a truer word spoken.
He don't need the extra cash, he has the winery going great guns :) Who doesn't like a good drop of red?

Think the whole board should be able to agree on Dylan Grimes.
So many setbacks, such a selfless team player.
So happy that he's a premiership player.
A shining example of hard work, perseverance and more ability that people credit him with.

I have faith in Cellis becoming best 22

He is that type of player that seems to have space and time...skilled

He used to appear timid and unsure but we saw glimpses of confidence coming into his game,..like that courageous pack mark ( can't remember against who it was last season)

Gold Coast :)

yes the only gripe i had was that for a couple of years there, he would duck and threw his head back, credit to him tho... adjusted quickly when rule changed and now is a vital cog that is our supreme back half, with superstar alex surrounded by 5 gems.
