Well said.

Absolutely dominated some games at VFL level but didn't quite make it to the top.

Still played more games for our great club than everyone on here.

Lets give any departing player the respect and appreciation for their contribution as anyone would if we were face to face with them

My sentiments exactly Star and numchuks.

All the best to you Ed. Great chatting to you over the years. Well done on reaching your dream of playing AFL footy. I for one am bloody envious............particularly as you did so in the Royal Blue and White stripes.

From all reports eminating from inside the club, yes it is. Widely known as one not to be sparring with, unless you like having your head punched in. Very quick and very strong, as well as being a naturally gifted gloveman. RESPECT!

Eddie Sansbury is back. His name is Lindsay Thomas.
A weak, inept, soft, lazy gutless performance last week.
This week was worse.
In fact - sorry Eddie, I'm doing you an injustice.
Swallow, Simpson and Spud pre-injury were good.
Petrie, Ziebell, Ross, Mcmahon, McIntosh all tried hard.
That runs me out of positives even after a long drive home.

hello everyone

i was thinking that with this draft being very weak (zvim is an expert on this subject and he says there are only 18 kids worth drafting and half of those have major problems with their game) maybe we could draft sansbury back or some other mature age recruits

i was watching sansbury play for centrals today in the preliminary final and he is a deadset matchwinner
we need more big game players like him

centrals were down by 4 or 5 goals in the last quarter and ed stepped up to get them the win
he had a great game and kicked 4 goals

was watching the marngrook footy show the other night and had to agree gilbert and the boys that sansbury never really got a fair go at north

stranger things have happened?
thoughts?

Just a hunch, but I'm starting to have a feeling that Sansbury's SANFL career will end up being better than his AFL career.

No idea why, but it's just the way I'm leaning atm.

Saw the game live today, and Eddie played very well. But did he not play some VFL games like that too? I was bewildered by the leverage given to him by his opponents today, AFL is normally not so generous with time and space

He is a good, not a great, SANFL player but he was not up to snuff at the AFL level. Simple as that.

I found 18 that I would consider worth drafting and half of those have some significant deficiencies.
