Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?
If Mills is back who are you dropping from that backline to fit him in?
Yeah but Kyle can't play as a key defender especially to be tasked on Marshall or Keeler depending what St Kilda does, best matchup for him would be Wood but we also need Snell/Hamling depending on fitness to go on the ruck/3rd tallI wouldn’t be rushing Mills back for starters but Melican is likely out injured anyway.
It was too the point at the ground that I thought it was Blakey that took off for half a second then realised it was Kyle and was so happy. His role in Heeney's last goal would have been exactly what the club hoped for. Gather the loose ball, quick handball off, takes off beside the receiver, runs with, then past, at speed and nails the pass to advantage. Fits perfectly into the game plan. Heaps to learn but a super promising start.

Mills playing 10cm under height against Keeler or 13 centimetres under height to Marshall/De Koning is basically a death sentence. You could put him on Sharman but idk if I' want him on Sharman give that it would take away a lot of his ability to play as the floating defender. No reason Mills can’t play tall for a week.

I just don't think you try and mess around with matchups too much and you play Snell against Keeler
Snell deserves a run in the 1s he is the only fit key defender we have yet people are saying we should go small in defence over playing him when we are coming up against one of the tallest key forward trio in the comp. Not to mention that Wood is basically playing as a 4th tall at 192cm.Gotta admire your persistence.

Its the case again of waiting for all the stars to align:
- Perfect matchup
- Player in form
- Injury in the 1s
- Other injuries to prevent reshuffling
- Other experienced players injured
Snell cops so much slander im just backing him up, legit went back through the VFL tape, in a poor game for him he had 2 kicked on him
Sorry Kbroome, I really didn't mean any offence, I actually admire your doggedness!Snell cops so much slander im just backing him up, legit went back through the VFL tape, in a poor game for him he had 2 kicked on him
Just standing up for him, he deserves a debut with all the stuff he has put up with and still putting out decent performances week in week outSorry Kbroome, I really didn't mean any offence, I actually admire your doggedness!
I like the broom.Sorry Kbroome, I really didn't mean any offence, I actually admire your doggedness!
Just sweeping away all the rubbish takes everyone has about Patty Snell and Harry Kyle (who ngl I can't really see us dropping now)I like the broom.
You know I don't always agree with your posts or others.Just sweeping away all the rubbish takes everyone has about Patty Snell and Harry Kyle (who ngl I can't really see us dropping now)
Agreed, I need to get better of turning differing view points into calm discussions, but it is a learning process that i'm slowly getting better at. Sometimes I get a little bit too passionate and fail to see the other POV.You know I don't always agree with your posts or others.
Sometimes I think I am right and then I realise I was wrong.
You show passion in your posts that show you care.
I like the diverse range of opinions on here.
Keeps it healthy.
I learn from others different opinions.
I think that is why I am still on here.
Not yet. Serong has excellent positional sense, is quite a bit bigger and a huge tank. Kyle has not yet developed anywhere near that. He's had a good taster and shown us a nice glimpse of his potential but don't let's ask him to defend against people like Dempsey or Fritsch or Mannagh or Miers or Lohmann just yet.Left footed version of Serong, capable of playing the same position. Even look similar from a distance
Agree. Give him a taste and send him back and give him instructions on things to improve. If players coming back preclude him.Not yet. The longer it went the better he got
I think he could be a big bodied mid.
I should have written to the swans in the late 90s asking for a game, sure they'd have said heck off but still

Imagine if both Kyle and King realise their natural physical gifts and talent, especially if it means they both play on ball? One can only dream...........The way he moved from deep in defence to deliver that beautiful soft kick for Heeney to do the rest he covered so much ground so quickly in those long strides. The Richmond player chasing was furiously trying to keep up and was just falling out the other side.
On drafting him we identified.
'Composed with ball in hand and takes the game on with a damaging kick and his run and carry'
That perfectly describes the moment in the game.
And the testing had him ranked number one in the running vertical jump, 8th for the standing vertical jump and 10th for the agility test. Wow i cant wait for the marks to kick in.
Added to that he relishes and executes his tackles.
Add an amazing work ethic and appetite to learn.
I see a Bont similarity
And we still have the other athletic gift in Max King.
