Definitely has superstar qualities if not opportunities, mason is either a coach's nightmare or gem (if you are a good coach). He needs to be let free, put in position where he is exposed to the least amount of pressure. As a forward, like Daw pressure and expectation is too high for instance nearly clunking a difficult mark is not a mark but pinky finger tip to the ball last line of defense is a fantastic save. This is why moving Daw to defense and now Wood will be great moves. Wood has got this Andrew Mackie type future if we get things right.

Laughable that blokes like Turner get a game ahead of Mason. Turners pressure is the most overrated thing since champagne & **** sex.

If we are gonna have someone in our forward line missing targets and going missing for periods of time, may as well be a bloke like mason who can turn it on and kick a bag.

I'm starting to wonder if there is more to it.

Seems to be out of favour two coaches in a row.

Turner is possibily gone for the season. As for his stats:

From the AFL Prospectus: We have scored 114 points directly from turnovers caused by Kayne's pressure in the last two seasons. Ranks him 14th in the AFL for this measure.

Great stat. But that is literally all he does. Hes added nothing more, nothing less

Is he leading the club for that stat? That would mean 12-13 clubs have a player doing it better?
I like KT but need more offensive output.

Wood will play at some point but he is not starting in round 1. He needs to kick a bag in the VFL, hold some marks and make a few tackles stick. He's got the tuning circle of Sandilands and the tackling prowess of JMac.
