This is a really odd thing to say, but probably like most of you guys, i am absolutely hanging out for the footy to start all through the off season...then last night i found myself watching the exhibition match, and i just couldn't care less.

I know it's just an exhibition match, but well, it was a very disappointing sentiment to be feeling.

It was such a joke of a game!

The people in the crowd were either running around playing or they had their backs completely turned from the game.

The commentating was a joke and it was so frustrating listening to them explaining the reasoning for every single free.

In terms of the game itself i know it is pre season but Carlton looked very ordinary.....

funny thing is you wasted pick 6 on him where we wasted nothing, if he dosn't go well to the scrap heap he go's + we open another spot on our list for a better draft but if he go's well then albino may have some egg to wash off.

Yeh what was with the "if you do this or that its an instant free kick"

Whats an instant free kick? Is there a delayed free kick now or something ?

It appears that the AFL is going to go soft on Carlton players this year.
People got rubbed out last season for what happened to Bradley.
 
There was nothing in it.

Hampson's hip and should collected Bradley's shoulder after the latter made the decision to slide into the ball. Bradley was knocked out because his head snapped back from the bump and hit the ground. Hampson tucked his arm in and bumped Bradley to protect himself from a player who was playing the ball.

Hampson could easily have come off second best if he didn't bump Bradley who was sliding into the ball and towards his legs. It was a similar incident to where players in Hampson's position have ruptured an ACL after an opponent has fallen across their knee or ankle when playing the ball.
