It seems like the club has done its best to keep a low profile on Cooper, as roos_fanatic08 said if we wanted we could have been playing him over James Tarrant. Let's hope this play pays off.

He's rubbish, delist.Likes playing like Aaron Naughton.
Ed Lower is another one that wasn't mentionedHow many Cornish surnames have appeared on your club's list?
IIRC, first Cornish surname at the Roos since Georgia Nanscawen.
The boy can play, great selection for usVice like hands and versatile.

Ross Poldark was on the list for a while but enjoyed his stargazey pies too much unfortunately to make an impact. Probably ditto for Rod Tregenza.
Where's your profile pic from? Didn't know it was ever a chain, thought it was just Upper GullyHow many Cornish surnames have appeared on your club's list?

I used to work in the Ballarat store, which is under the ownership of Brendan Blake. Who is the son of Leo Blake who owns/owned the Melbourne Maxi Foods stores and Leo's Supermarkets.Where's your profile pic from? Didn't know it was ever a chain, thought it was just Upper Gully
My (sheltered) worldview has been shatteredI used to work in the Ballarat store, which is under the ownership of Brendan Blake. Who is the son of Leo Blake who owns/owned the Melbourne Maxi Foods stores and Leo's Supermarkets.
Brendan also has a Maxi Foods store in Castlemaine.
Am I alone in my eye test having him taller than 193cm?
Big lump of a lad

Now one of the strangest locations in Melbourne to host all three major supermarkets. NiceThis one I believe is from Blackburn Square.
There were Maxi Foods in Horsham and Mansfield too for a while. This one I believe is from Blackburn Square.
Ummmmm! The boy can play, great selection for us

Balwyn mentionTrembath named in the best, Walker kicked 1 goal as Balwyn held to 8.14 for the game.
Balwyn fielding such luminaries as Kayne Turner and Ben Silvagni as well. And our own Lachie Young!

When he stretches his arms out to mark or spoil the ball he genuinely looks like he is closer to 200cm rather than 190cm.
Must have a big wingspan and reach because his height does look deceptive.
At the 2023 state combine his absolute running vertical score was 342cm (standing reach + vertical).
That was 4th overall at the state combine:
Boston Dowling(206cm): 353cm
Joe Pike (203cm): 346cm
Grant Jacob(193cm): 343cm)
It would have been equal 6th at the National Combine that year
2023 National Combine leaders in absolute vertical:
Mitch Edwards (206cm): 359cm
Will Green (204cm): 353cm
Taylor Goad (206cm): 348cm
Zake Zakostelsky (196cm): 345cm
Vigo Visentini (204cm): 345cm
Archer Reid (203cm): 342cm
Wil Dawson (200cm): 342cm
And would have put him clear 3rd at the 2022 National Combine:
2022 National Combine:
James Van Es (197cm): 346cm
Will Verrall (199cm): 345cm
Harry Barnett (202cm): 339cm
Z. Duursma (188.8cm) 337cmHappy that data backs up the eye test!
Having the same absolute as players who are 200+cm is pretty impressive.
I recall absolute vertical was a big selling point for Zane Duursma and Nate Caddy. How does he compare to those two?
No current season stats available
Z. Duursma (188.8cm) 337cm
Caddy (192.9) 335cm
Things you never thought you'd be posting about #363This one I believe is from Blackburn Square.

I think that Maxi went to God many years ago.
Good meat deals in the day. Not a euphemism.
