could we reach 14 debutants? i think its likely we see McMahon given at least one game by the end of the season, leaving unwin, gerryn and Nguyen, id say unwin the only one with a chance to play this year out of that lot. That said it could be very likley we just play all the kids in round 24.5 v gold coast

Its exciting to see what he can do. He only need to compete hard at the contest like lual has, If he can do that there is every chance his output can be more than Gresham and Perkins in recent weeks.

Is best case scenario for him K-Mart Zac Bailey?

I see a lot of similarity in style of play and body shape.

we have 12 so far, equal with richmond (2010) brisbane (1991) and Sydney (1990) in the the AFL era excluding GWS and Gold Coast, fitzroy hold the record with 13 in 1991.
So we're smack bang in between an upcoming 3 peat or completely folding.

Nah Kmart Jamie Elliott. Best work isn’t on transition like Bailey. Its high marking and inside 50 work. The one on the horizon who might be our Bailey is Sweid.

Would like to see a couple more AFL games but my concerns about his pace have not changed.
We look pretty slow all over the ground. This is why we can’t get that degree of separation. Marto has papered the cracks in this regard. I see now why Lual is in the team. Richmond has been competitive against us the last 4 times we played them because they are much more zippier than us. This is also the reason we can’t beat teams by big margins as the opposition know like West Coast for example if they go a man on man style then they take away our strengths and they will win a lot of the one on one contests. I wish Unwin come on a lot more as he has been ok but not knocking the door down but he has those traits that we need in the team.

I thought he was decent, barely lost a contest had a hand in a few forays forward. tried to compete a couple
times 1 against 2 but the numbers prevailed. on a easier night could have ended up with a couple
of goals and a goal assist.

he was slow of mind more than leg speed which was a worry for me. I had concerns but still think his combativeness can be an asset
He was slow pace wise a few times.

For someone people keep saying is slow at VFL level I didn’t think he looked treacle slow.

He was ok, tried all game in a tough position in a game where we had shocking forward entries that our KPF’s did an extremely poor job of bringing to ground. Halved a contest or two.

No reason not to give him a few more given our injury list anyway.
