Good start to the series so far. I always laugh at how competitve they get in the first leg (the frat boy at the airport missing on AA tickets was priceless). Everytime they all catch up to each other on the leg anyway.

The one thing I have noticed already is there are not any teams to "hate". No b*tching teams, no teams making huge statements. All of them are likable in some way, even the 40-year old virgins. I like Terrance and Sarah but think that there are a lot of contenders. Even the divorced women have a chance. Should be an even series, which will be good.

Agree. That team is likely to self destruct pretty quickly.

No surprise the bee keepers went - just too slow.

Next to go surely is the frat boys - most likely team to make stupid decisions. The steps question was always going to be how many steps there were - it was logical!

I think Bill and Mark will go a long way in this. Nick and Starr are playing too hard and from the preview of next weeks show the alliance has already been found out. I think that will backfire on them. The ones with no hope are the bimbos, the mother and son, and Im not sure that Anthony really wants to be there.

Someone shoot Tina please. Her rubbish about "I got them to give us a bigger plane"...........how up herself is she? No airline changes an aircraft because of a passenger. They would have switched it that morning for a whole lot of reasons, not because of extra passengers.

Terrance and Sarah - they have no hope. He makes really really dumb decisions.

I am really starting to like Toni and Dallas. No surprise with the team eliminated.

Ken isn't to bad but i hate her as well. She honestly believed she made the airline change the size of the plane for her, OMG. That’s one of the funniest thing i have ever heard on the Amazing Race.

For some reason i like the frat boys even tho they are not so smart – that are good value, and i really like the girls in pink from South Carolina.

I had already downloaded and watched this episode just in case cause I forgot to tape off free to air last week.

Tina my god what an idiot. She reckons she changed the plane erm no they probably saw 20 odd yanks turn up and think ooo more money!

No surprise to see Stephanie and Anthony go out, there is always one team that you look at and think should do well but for some reason just completely lack intensity or fight and meekly go out.

1. Tina needs to be left in a hot car with the windows up. Im starting to think Ken could have battered husband syndrome.

2. Terrence needs to come out of the closet, he isnt fooling anybody.

3. I will lose faith in the show if Bill and Mark dont win this.

4. Nick and Starr continue to screw other teams over. Their luck will run out coz neither of them is above average intelligence.

Absolutely loving this series! It has the potential to be the best of the lost! To me there aren’t any standout teams and they’re all reasonably even. Here is my order of how strong they are:

1. Aja and Ty. It appears as though they’re the unobtrusive team of the series, at least to this point. We haven’t noticed them too much but they seem to be travelling well and I’m getting this feeling they could go deep…

2. Nick and Starr. Starr’s pretty hot, on some angles she doesn’t look all that hot but on others she looks mighty fine. Pretty good body she’s got. I’m not sure what to make of Nick, he seems alright but his effort at that last task last week was pretty appalling. And the way he ditched Sarah was pretty pathetic. I think they’ll go far but not sure if they’ve got what it takes to win.

3. Andrew and Dan. The frat boys are actually good and one of my preferred teams, they won’t win but they’re interesting to watch and are harmless guys.

4. Kelly and Christy. They have already proven to be quite a strong team except for that absolute stuff up at the road block. Spending who knows how long digging at the beach trying to find a container? I’m glad they eventually realised it served no purpose because it could have cost them. And for older ladies, they’re both pretty attractive I must say…

5. Toni and Dallas. Comfortably my favourite team. They seem like really nice people and you can tell they’re classy. Stopping to assist Terence and Sarah was a nice act and they’re both very supportive of one another. Not sure they’re realistic chances of winning but I think they could make the final 3 and I hope they do.

6. Ken and Tina. Tina is a piece of work isn’t she? I was cringing when she was proudly harping on to every team about how she caused them to get a bigger plane. I mean seriously woman, think about what you’re saying. I’m predicting they’ll have a major breakdown at some stage of the series which will be their undoing.

7. Terence and Sarah. Talk about a strange team! Well Sarah’s not that bad but Terence is a freak. What about the whole saga over the car boot hitting his head? He acted very weird.

8. Mark and Bill. They’re okay and will probably last a while because they seem like the most intelligent team on the race but their lack of fitness and physical strength will probably catch up with them at some stage. Who’s the one who sweats profusely?

9. Marisa and Brooke. While they’re not the most attractive blonds they could’ve got, I like them! Brooke is quite attractive and they both seem very nice. They obviously aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed and there’s no way they’re a chance of winning, but they’re good value and I hope to see them survive for a few more weeks at least.

Good episode last night. The geeks got what they deserved - anyone who can't read a clue only has themselves to blame. I hope the divorcees go next - everything is a drama with them.

I am happy Toni and Dallas finished first (not happy Tina and they guy won again). The New Zealand leg should be interesting!

I've wondered about this too... but you just never know how you would react/ what silly mistakes you'd make when you're under that kind of pressure. Same deal with those teams who "just cant find the clue box and its just right there in front of them!!!!!".

I'd say it'd be pretty dam hard to run a perfect Amazing Race when you're under that kind of stress.

I'm pretty sure I know I would **** up for sure.

But yeah, the team got what they deserved..... quick qeustion is that the first time a team has been given the 30 minute penalty and a team has passed them and they've been eliminated? I remember it happening to maybe one or two teams, but it didnt really effect them in the race that badly.
