IF you see 5 cents on the footpath do you pick it up?
I dont think it's worth the effort, unless there's hundreds of 5 cent pieces on the footpath.
I remeber being at McDonalds in Swanston St about 5 years ago, I was eating my McCrap and I noticed the guy at the table across from me eyeing my change sitting on the edge of the table. It was 5 cents.
Halfway through his meal he asked me, "Is that yours?"
I said it wasn't just to see what he'd do. He reached over and snatched the 5c piece without even a 2nd look back at me.
Now this guy didnt look hard up at all. He was working on a laptop and looked to be a student. He wes well dressed in a japanese studious sort of way. I got the impression he had money.
He's the type to pick up 5c, Im not. But odds are he will be fairly wealthy later in life.
Odds are I will get lucky and also be fairly lucky in life
So I put it to you, if you saw 5c on the footpath would you pick it up?
