1: I trust Tom Brownes as far as I could throw him, and he's a chunky lad.
2: If it's true though it's ******* baffling. He wasn't out injured, at worst he would have lost a bit of match fitness while still fully training, at best he's *in' cherry ripe to go after a break.

Surely with a known 3 weeks off we would have managed his load to have him all set to go this week - a couple of weeks of hard training then lighten him up this week?

Far more to this than 'he has had 3 weeks off...he needs to play in the 2's' - the club's 6's and 7's tweet also showing that not everyone is on the same page.

To be sure I would much rather number 6 after his lay off then number 7 after his lay off playing for us this week.

Despite his calm demeanour in front of the camera Nobes is now going rouge.

Devil's advocate.

If JHF agreed that he needed the run in the 2s, it shows signs of good leadership.

We constantly bang on about players coming back underdone. Let him destroy some blokes and come back with confidence.

He’s not coming back from injury though, so if anything a player his age should be better for the freshen up.

Lmao at this leaking to reporters first - sounds like it's all sunshine and rainbows down at Arden St though hey?
Odd leak though, saying that JHF took it well.

Club/Noble? Pre-empting outrage perhaps.

Leak says he "accepted" the rationale.

Fine. Go out and smash the Pies reserves and walk back in. Nobody is guaranteed a spot, his games before hand certainly didn't guarantee it.

Hopefully something like this. He's a confident guy, these are things that make players.
