Given the history of Gumbleton the club is being careful and meticulous in managing joes workload. I think we all need to be patient and trust the club is doing the right thing

He had back issues in juniors last year or the year before and had a niggle during preseason this year, he'll be lucky if he gets a game this season. Needs two players to go down with injury before he's going to be considered.

No need to rush him. Form in the VFL has been good but he still lacks defensive pressure and the games i have seen can be out bodied in one on one contests.
Because of the back injuries he still lacks the core strength needed to play on experienced defenders and has been getting by in the VFL more on his lead up work and natural ability to do things big blokes should not be able to do.

If they play him now other clubs will run off him to start with and it will not do a lot for his development. A few games in the second half of the year yes but personally not in the next 3 weeks for mine when we face high pressure games.

And about half a second after that I became abundantly aware of the fact that we have a BIBLICAL monster on our hands here. Barring injury, this kid is going to be flat out unbeatable. In two or three years with some weight on him....
