Whoever was asking about trading someone in the first year of their contract – you can. What you can't do is trade the same player twice in the same trade period. All trades require the consent of both parties (and a third party representative of the player, e.g. agent, parent) regardless.

Tend to agree though have t seen him a huge amount the last couple of years.

Can play deep and clunk it or create a soft crumb or push up to the ball carrier further afield. Appeals as a good foil for Smack - who can’t continue to be our only marking target inside 50 and down the line.

But he does seem to have gone off the boil the last couple of years...dont know what has happened.

Bruce played 22 games this year. Hardly off the boil and still managed 1.6 goals a game (career ave 1.5). He was one of the leading contested marking players to iirc.

Two microphones in the clip, one is 9 and one is Essendon. The last question was asked by the Essendon guy, I think it's Conor Walsh? Listened to enough of those to recognise the voice from the club interviews. The rest were the Channel 9 guy.
