The current 6 wins in a row equals our 6 in a row effort from R1 to R6 2017.

How far can we take it this year?

If we beat Collingwood we equal our longest streak of home games won (9) according to AFL tables.

I think we are already on our equal longest streak of either Adelaide Oval or Footy Park wins, currently at 9 games.

Winning the next 3 and two home finals will take our winning streak to 11 games, and AO wins to 12 games.

Win the following match and no-one will be talking about the streak!

We already have beaten our longest streak of home games ?

(unless, I guess we lost an away Showdown somewhere in the midst of another streak - As far as I'm concerned losing to Port at home regardless of 'home' or 'away' status negates any Home Ground win streak)

We have won 8 home games in a row from GWS R7 to Hawks R22 2025 - equal third second best (since 2006 when we won 8 in a row).

Our best (twice) is 9 games at home, in 1993 and 2007-2008.

Ok I see where i got confused

we're on a 9 game winning streak at Adelaide Oval - Which has equalled two separate streaks of 9 that we managed at Football Park - We've never won 10 in a row at Football Park or Adelaide Oval

However one of the current streak of 9 was an 'away' game against Port Adelaide so afl tables says we're only on a current 8 game home game streak

If we beat Collingwood in two weeks time we win 10 Adelaide Oval games in a row and quite frankly that is the streak that I think is important, not the 9 'Home' games

One of the good things is that some of our wins have been tight, and has taught the club some lessons.
You learn more from your losses than you do your wins. However, some of our games have been close, or parts of it were.
For instance last weekend we got smacked in the first qtr. That would have shown the coaches an area of our game that needs attention, but we won in the end, which helps build confidence that we can still win if we are behind, and we addressed the issues we had in the second half. We got the win, but also learnt the lesson.

Latest Update
We are now 7 wins in a row, equal 5th best ever, last achieved from R9 2009 Carlton to R15 2009 Fremantle.

Also 8 home games in a row, our equal second best streak, best since R5 2006 (Footscray) to R18 2006 (Collingwood).

Also equal 4th best streak of away games won in a row with three wins, we have done this 7 times.

Also equal 3rd best streak of conceding less than 100 points in a game, 16 games in a row since R7 2025 - which we have done twice.

The one i like is that we've only ever won more than the 16 games we've ever won once, in 2005 when we came top where we won 17.

On track to have the best minor round the club has ever had (admittedly playing one more game than 05/06/17) which is something I don't think anyone would have bet on at the start of the year.
