Healy is no where near as bad as people make out.

He can't wait for us to be a good side. So many times he thinks an upset is gonna happen and we run out of legs and he gets pissed off about it. We've matched it with good sides for alot of the time in games recently and you can almost hear him drooling about the chance we might win it.

We lost that game by less than the mistakes LDU made and the goals that came from it. Same with Konstanty and probably others (FOS coming in late and giving away a free when GW had the free for example. Tho that was a dive.)

If all of those players made one or two less errors a game then we'd have won it.

I hope they realise that and are pissed off enough to try and fix things.
Bang on Ferbs.

Our 'lack of polish' was greatly contributed to by him. And has been all year.
Yes, this is true. However if we had #1 Target who was a contested marking beast as a back-up option, LDU amongst others would be better for it. Outside of Curtis (who I feel he looks for pretty much every time) - I could be wrong here but my eyes tell me this.

Hopefully Coopbath Tremor will be that player.

Yeah, he turned over a couple of goals early, but was directly responsible for 3 back.
Nil all draw one could say.

The lack of polish imo is missed set shots and goals on the run under zero pressure. They literally kill you.

LDU has the best kicking efficiency of all our mids, and is about average when it comes to turnovers and clangers compared to other top line mids in the league...

He hit a pass to Simpkin in the last across HB that made it to its target in about half a second.

His disposal issues are greatly exaggerated.

If we were winning, posters would be cranking themselves over his contest work, burst from stoppage and swatting oppo tacklers off like they were toddlers.

Instead we have a bunch on here looking for a saviour. When Harry and George hit their straps and they all gel, LDU will be a ridiculous player imo.

They will all be ridiculous players and its not that far away imo.

Dont forget about a kid named FOS...He will be the best of the lot...Harry, George, FOS and LDU OMG! :openmouth: l cant wait to see them playing midfield..

Moti Season Review:

Rating: A-

His best is elite, but when he is off by a small amount, he drops down pretty quick. Thought his defensive efforts were improved but will never be a defensive beast. To be a true A grade player he needs to hit targets, because he has the other tools. Having FOS & Colby in the middle with a fit George will lift the burden on him considerably.

Pre-Season focus: Ball drop for both short and long kicks

Projected 2026 position: AFL Midfield

You're very kind.

Anytime a free is paid against a North player or more importantly not paid, he goes full "think of the children" makes it a rules of the game or OH&S issue.

Example: Tristan Xerri brings down a tackle who had 1 leg in the air

Healy "well that's the kind of thing we need to phase out of the game, O'Brien had no way to protect himself and the North Melbourne ruckman Tristan Xerri could've caused serious damage then".

Mysteriously anything a north player is infringed Gerard is sipping his coffee and misses it.

I think you're over egging that. He's not specifically anti North with his pearl clutching. It happens in most games he commentates.

I disagree but no worries.
