Agreed, but it would have been better for us if he'd smashed Hogan in the Brownlow count. A single vote between them, and Hogan a KPP, doesn't give us a whole lot to work with

The Brownlow is a tough one though. In the first Carlton/Hawthorn game we got smashed, but Murph picked up 37 touches. Brownlow votes for him that game - 0. Until we start climbing the ladder, it's going to be tough for our guys to get the recognition they deserve on Brownlow night.

Hopefully 2015 is his breakout year from the point of view of umpire recognition. He was very stiff not to poll more votes, but the ultimate reward was the B&F.
