Geelong v St Kilda round 14. Probably the best game I've ever seen.

2011 GF, 2 highly skilled sides in tricky conditions.

Just my two bobs worth, apart from the toe poke and the final result, I thought the '09 GF was a terrible game.

The last 5 or so Freo vs Geelong games at Subi have all been quality, 2008 (Postman Pav), 2012 and 2010 probably the pick of them.

2010 was the best of the lot IMO, Pavlich kicked 5 including a couple monsters from the centre square and Ablett had 30 touches and 4 brilliant goals for the Cats, all have gone right down to the wire too.

Still though you should probably pick the 2012 GF or Cats vs Hawks 2012, both are pretty much ideal games; high quality teams fighting desperately in front of large frenetic crowds and both had tense finishes.

Good get.

I think you'll find you american family will love footy amer.

All the seppos I went to uni with up in Queensland loved it. A few guys even came down and had a kick with our Uni side...

Take the '12 GF with that '11 PF, and maybe a Crows GF or winning Showdown ('05 Semi?) to represent.

And maybe the final where Nick Davis kicks 3 goals in the last 10 minutes to win the game for Sydney. I think it might of been 2005.

I wouldn't. Was one of the worst games i'd seen up until 3qtr time. Came alive in the last quarter though for obvious reasons.

Show them just the last quarter then. But for the sake of an individual performances, it is the best I've ever seen.

Can't go past the 2010 drawn GF. Get to exhibit a great game and confuse the shit out of them even further..

"So what happens now bro? Overtime? Golden point?"

"Nope, they come back next week and do it all over again."

".....naw man, seriously, what happens?"

Hey champs, on the way to the states to meet the in-laws, cousins, other american creatures. We've already bought a footy for my nieces and nephew, but my wife is bloody keen to show a couple of games to her dad and a few others, convert them to the definitive sport created by humans.

I've already locked in the Collingwood/Hawthorn prelim of 2011, but not sure what to select as my other. Will take a few if need be. Anyone keen to throw down any recommendations?
Can't go past the 2012 GF for pure drama and an awesome result!:D
