C'mon Blues, we really do have a chance to take a scalp with us. St Kilda.

Let's give it our all and try to win, I would love to beat St Kilda and limit their chance of a finals show.

Saint Nick is out, Harvey - one less midfielder is gone.

This is our chance to take something away from the season.

Even though St.Kilda won, you're right - we're more of a chance now (Sunday night) than we were Sunday morning, due to the injuries to Riewoldt and Harvey... but it's still going to be extremely tough. They have a classy midfield, and we'll struggle to contain both Kosi and Gehrig.

It'd be a game person to tip the Blues, I'd say - but yes, we're some chance. :)

Going by what Gehrig got a week for earlier in the year he could also be on the sidelines after iving Harrison a love tap to the head after he took the mark.

id love for us to beat the saints but it wont happen our midfield is too ******** for dal santo ball and hayes livingston is good full back but gerig is better and will ******** on him for pennys and nickles our only chance is too get useless buggers like sporn davis to attack the players and put them off their game. give walker the job on dal santo so he can keep growing and eventually win a brownlow medal which i rkn he will. if bryan can keep goin well with the hitouts it will help us a s-hit load but we cant keep playing stevo and campo who r clearly injured kouta hasnt had top games the last 2 weeks but fevola is firing so hes our key... waite is still learning and whitnall can still kick a few goals when hes needed. thornton is becoming one of the best chb in the afl.

once we draft an inside midfielder like hurn it will help us a s-hit load so he can go in get it and dish it off to stevens who drills it to fev on the chest... i was also thinkin that leroy jetta wouldnt be a bad pickup... or should we try and get eddie betts to become a midfielder...

anyway to finish it off

Lose to saint kilda and everyone else while also defeating collingwood ending their crap finals dream. and hope that hawthorn win another game apart from the one against us leaving us with the top 2 players up for offer this season

next season im thinking a season similair to the bulldogs of last year.. still finishing low but showing signs of getting better and then in 2007 narowly missing finals before 2008 a season similair to st kildas of last year where we surprise everyone and finnaly get to rub s-hit in the face of everyone that has bagged carlton these last few years

p.s i no my profile says im an eagles supporter thats coz im on my mates account

You would have thought the Saints would go down after Riewoldt was injured but they didn't. Limited interchange against a running side and they still held their own. We need more than a couple of players out to get a win.

Hawks have to win 3 as we do to miss out on a priority pick. Both teams look like getting priority picks.

Still if we stay where we are, we might take Hurn and Dowler if Mitch Clarke comes right and the Hawks take him. We have to go the midfielder first because the Hawks are looking okay for young KPP talent.

ODN, I thought a club could have 5.5 wins for the year and still get a priority pick. That would mean we would have to win 4 games to miss out on it.

Saying this, me might get one, maybe two more wins for the year. Has been a very disappointing year after it looked to be heading in the right direction.

As much as i don't like bagging the blues, you couldn't see them beating anyone the way they are playing at the moment. St Kilda are a good side and given they need to keep winning to be assured of a spot in the finals, i don't think they'll let this one slip.

so you can still get a priority pick if u only win 5 games?? i thought u had to win less than 5 to get one... so really us hawthorn essendon collingwood and fremantle can all get one???

no all these team's can't get priority picks

carl play haw + coll + ess and can only afford 2 1/2 more wins
ess play carl + coll + haw and can only afford 0 more wins
coll play carl + ess + freo and can only afford 0 more wins
freo play carl + coll and can only afford 0 more wins
haw play carl + ess and can only afford 2 more wins

the most that can end up with priority picks would be 3.

fair enough.... how long did it take u to work all that out

Last year I went to the worst game ever when St.Kilda did a 'War of the Worlds' on us and obliterated us by 108 points.

Thommo the f-wit middle-manager said it was payback for the thrashings we gave them when we had a team.

Then I went to an even worse game of all-time when Richmond murded us by 83 points.

St.Kilda have found form and will beat us by at least 50-60 points. Their mid-field will show up how bad ours really is, even with their forward line wonly, they still have Ko********zke and the Rapist and even Guerra to run rings around *******s like Teague and Morrel and Mcgrath and Bowyer.

Hopefully Dimsimitriou's 'draft' will fnally work to our favour when we get priority and first round picks and trade a few relaible guns.

Then according to his Greek-souvlaki plan we can meet out similar punishment on richmond and stinkilda when we get our handouts.

Interesting summary. ;)

As much as I hate to admit it, I really don't think we will win this week. Their midfield is just too powerful. Stevo is getting tagged far too easily at the moment, whilst something appears terribly wrong with Kouta and Campo.
That leaves us pretty much with Johnno and Walker, up against an excellent midfield in Hayes, Ball, Dal Santo, Powell, Goddard etc...

... And unlike us, St Kilda don't constantly butcher the ball at every oppotunity.

I think we should just wait for the Essendon and Hawthorn games, then some optimism might arise. :)

Ko********zke and the Rapist, Dimsimitriou, Greek-souvlaki plan, stinkilda!!! HAHAHAHA You are a comic genius. You're not Rove McManus are you???

Teagson, I wouldn't exactly call Goddard an excellent midfielder yet. He is actually spending the majority of his time in defence, so I can't comprehend why you would make this statement. However, if they decided to put him in the midfield, Walker may get the job of tagging him, because this is making him a 'superstar'!

Why would you tag Goddard? Big and slow and after last weekend lacks vision has poor disposal and panics under pressure.

Ah but Goddard can be rotated into the midfield at any given time to ease the pressure on the usual midfielders, something we sorely miss.

Because I can. :D

I doubt he'd tag Goddard, as he'll most likely find himself on Dal Santo, Ball or Hayes.

It will make him a superstar, you just watch. ;)
