Geez, let's predict the fallout if we end up losing to Melbourne and I do believe that's possible if we play a half like the first against the Swans or the last against the Crows. Imagine the pressure and scutiny Wallace would be put under, the media will let loose. I'm already hearing the likes of...pathetic Tigers get smashed again on radio... he'd nearly have to retire:thumbsu:

oh no we will beat melbourne maybe carlton maybe 5 and a half wins for the season finish between 12 and 9th then we can claim to have had a reasonable season lol:eek:

ok i will predict it now.

We will lose to Melb. and that should be the end of Wallace. But it won't be cos they ain't got the nads to remove him and his weak yes men assistants.

A Melbourne loss will see me go absolutely mental on this board.

If we lose to Melbourne we would have to sack Wallet, surely?

A loss to Melbourne would surely mean the sacking of Wallace.

We dont... have to win this week do we? ;)

What kind of sick thinking is that, i dont even wanna think that way!

No one rates the assistants, so what is the point of sacking him so one of them can become Head coach.

Could only see them cash in on weak draw and help thier chances of taking senior job at end of the year if club decided to react at end of the year.

Remember 'Unleash the Giesh' frenzy. Let the emotions of a cheer squad determine our coach.

I'd sack him and call for Chris Bond. Give him the chance til the end of the season and if he does well he can get the job

We'll win. The past fortnight hasn't been too good at all but we have improved and I think we'll be eager to do well and will play a very good consistent game.

Because beating 1 win Melbourne is such an achievement, everyone will be able to ease up on the negativity and we can all start to proclaim that Richmond is truly on the verge of greatness.

What I would suggest is more likely RT, is that we win, and 98% of people on this board bag us because we only won by 10 goals instead of 11 goals.

So, losing to the worst side has more upside?

If it helps people realise that there are some serious issues still to be resolved at Richmond then yes it does. Then we might finally see TW end the Mr. Nice Guy routine and make some decisions about players futures sooner rather than later.

But tell me Sante, what exactly will a 5/10/15 goal win against the Dees achieve?
a. Confidence boost for the players that they can belt the worst team in the AFL.
b. False hope for deluded fans who think everything is going great.
c. All of the above.

Well why don't we just not turn up then, if our only other options are a loss - which personally, I don't enjoy - or a win in which we create false inflated opinions of our club as do the players.

Damned if we lose and damned if we win.

Season is over.

And Wallace cant do what he did last year and write it off, sack Gaspar and play kids.

because he's only got one year left on his contract.

And there's enough chumps at the club ready to put Sheedy in as coach.
