A Question From The Enemy

I'm going for the Hawkers as my extreme passion for hating Freo continues.

But good luck today anyway guys.

I feel so dirty now...:p

I think IMHO Grover. I think Grover pips MaPharlin for speed and strength , 2 attributes need too beat the young Hawk Gun . Grover IMO was unlucky V Brown last week due to a feeble midfield display . I reckon give him 1st crack

It is definitely the highlight of the game, seeing who can nip the Bud. Realistically though we actually have several options, depending on where he plays. Grover, MacPharlin, Johnson and Dodd are all plausible match-ups.

If he's inside 50 as a forward target I think MacPharlin or Grover will get the asignment, with MacPharlin my prefered choice. I think he should regularly get the best tall, and he should have the expectation that he is good enough to take them on and win.

If he is playing a bit more midfield then Johnson is creative and can damage the Hawks the other way, and Dodd can play a more negating role, depending on requirements.

By the way, I'm not saying any of these players will win the dual. Buddy is a talent and in form. Good challenge for our players.

I'm as welcome as you are.

i heard on adelaide radio this morning that luke mcpharlin was still touch and go yesterday arvo so will be interesting, if he's fit it's got to be him.

Good call REO Speedwagon.

haha you have nailed my inspiration.

FACT ATTACK

When I was born in the 80's the power ballad "can't fight this feeling" by REO SPEEDWAGON was one of the top selling casettes in australia :thumbsu:

It was also a car built 90 years ago. I am not this old therefore it is not my inspiration.

He will be a gun. Just thank god he did not turn it on today in the goal dept. I will have to wait till next year to see him in the flesh thats all.:thumbsu:
