I've never understood, why with Jetta, Davey, Reimers, Colyer, Winderlich in the side, we didn't try it on Sunday.

Try something, try anything.

We're just too predictable.

Either we try and hit someone 40-60 out in the corridor, or we kick to the top of the square. Please, can we try and create some space down there.

This is what is frustrating me about the team - we seem, from the outside, to either be coached poorly, or listen poorly.

We effectively played the game with no CHF - and our structure completely broke down.

Their 2 "talls" had a match up, Hurley was amazingly left to play on a flanker (lets be serious) in Jurrah - all whilst we were hitting brick walls going forward (we had more than enough of the ball).

Even once the game looked shot, STILL the team wasnt moved around (in core structure of talls). The one move, which seems to have taken 2 years in giving Lonergan a go as an inside midfielder worked. No point doing the same thing over and over and wondering why nothing changes on gameday.

Left a very sour taste in my mouth, gotta say.

Lonergan to the middle seems to be the default move when we are behind and it always works, because he wins contests. That's what he's great at, getting to the bottom of the pack, coming out with the ball and standing up in the tackle.

Not sure why he isn't used there all the time.

The other problem we face, is we rotate heavily, we have set rotations.
However, once we make positional changes, those set rotations go out the window. We stop rotating.

In the 3/4 Lonergan, Watons, Howlett played near on the whole quarter. By the end of the quarter they were stuffed. We can't seem to manage a change in position and maintain rotations at the same time. If we started with more numbers rotating through, it wouldn't be a problem.

It's one of the reasons I'm reluctant to criticise Knights.
