Anyone else see the graphic broadcast during the North v Freo game yesterday detailing clubs with 30+ year olds on lists? North and Freo dominated. Pretty sure Geelong and Sydney also came up quite high. Hawthorn near the bottom of the list with only 4. Box Hill kicked arse yesterday too. Youth is looking good.
TRue. Unlikely freo will even reach 10th what a campaigner ross isWho will he be playing for in Sept? Didn't think Freo would be able to ship him to a club that will be playing.
Actually its even better. Just had a look and its just Mitchell, Hodge and Burgoyne 30+
Lewis doesn't turn 30 until next week.
You never seemed to try very hardThis time last year............
Fremantle fans were booking their GF tickets
Port were enjoying record crowds & telling us how how much they'd enjoy having Ryder
Adelaide were extremely confident of re-signing Dangerfield
Mick was going to turn Carlton around with the help of Dale Thomas
Mitch Clark was going to be Geelong's boom recruit of the year
James Hird said Essendon* would be in a good place when the ASADA stuff was behind them
Everyone was speculating how much Bulldogs would miss their captain
Hawthorn were looking shaky and people were saying James Frawley was a bust
Norf was recruiting 30 year olds & giving the Bigfooty servers headaches
Sydney were expecting Buddy to be the difference in September
We had to avoid pissing off Stronzo & Chappyuk was just another boring Cats poster
oogac still had a yearly monopoly over the Toots
Meltstaff was on his old account and so was I
Brett & Bushie were still around
There was none of this Bae13 ridiculousness
Gibbo.
Which makes it rather funny that everyone seems to be predicting Hawthorn's downfall in the next few years yet a common perception is that Geelong is a team on the rise. Admittedly the Hawks will struggle without those 5 champions and yet you've just named what's almost Geelong's entire backline.Which means we have the same.
Cats
Bartel, Enright, Mackie, Lonergan, Taylor (29)
Hawks
Mitchell, Gibson, Hodge, Burgoyne, Lewis (29)
Neither did you!You never seemed to try very hard![]()

lol, he had you at "Bartel"...Which makes it rather funny that everyone seems to be predicting Hawthorn's downfall in the next few years yet a common perception is that Geelong is a team on the rise. I think both teams will be left in the dust by GWS, GC & maaaaybe a few others like the Doggies in 2-3 years time. Brb drying my tears on these 3 flags.
