Aaron Davey set to announce his retirement..........

News on wire is that Aaron Davey is holding a press conference today to announce his retirement from AFL football. I thought hed done so years ago, given his obvious lack of decent performances.......apparently not!.
However, everyone deserves a fitting send off for their contributions, so heres a couple of going away presents for Aaron............

I remember a Shemons fan at Princes Park calling out "good luck getting away from Davey" when a Carlton player had the ball and Davey was chasing.
I laughed and ended up seeing that this indeed was how Davey's whole career went.
Never had the ball, always chasing the man who had it.

I suspect that as a typical Geelong bandwagoner, you didn't watch footy pre-2007 and never saw Davey at his best.

You just had to go there didn't you ? Just could not help yourself you miserable piece of horse testicles sucking, inhuman ape touching, emasculate fork inserting pin head. Well, I'll let you know that your tired slag at my club really hurt my feelings. For that I will laugh hard when hawthorn finish in the top 2 but get shunted off to ethiad as they dont have the crowed pulling power of the true top 4 clubs. Even though I know that's wrong I will guffaw and chortle in merriment.

Been watching since the early 90's

Davey was a half decent player for about 5 years when he had pace and could kick. Unfortunately since then he has just been an average player in a crap team.

He is pretty much just a slight upgrade on Shannon Byrnes.
